Creations by Sam Bass

Sam has worked within the NASCAR community for over 20 years and is the artist who sketches all the famous NASCAR driver portraits and specialty prints you see on public display. Sam also designs most of the special NASCAR driver color schemes for Winston Cup race teams, as well as official collectible speedway programs.

Finally First - Sam Bass - On NASCAR's 50th anniversary running of the Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt finally won the one race that had eluded him for so long! Sam's painting brings all the emotions of the day into "focus" - the spin in the grass, all the competitors lining up along pit road to congratulate Earnhardt, and "the man" himself celebrating in victory lane. This unframed print is personally autographed by Sam himself, individually numbered and limited to only 1998 pieces.

Dale Earnhardt & Richard Petty, 7 and 7 - Sam Bass - In December 1994, Dale Earnhardt was crowned seven-time NASCAR Winston Cup Champion, an accomplishment achieved by only one other driver...Richard Petty. This historical moment has been captured in Sam's painting which features two portraits of each driver, and their respective cars which they drove to this high honor.

The Legend Continues - Sam Bass - In 1995 ACDelco commisioned Sam to illustrate its sponsorship of the Earnhardt family that year, including Dale and his three children, Kerry, Kelley and Dale Jr. Produced only as a fine art poster, "The Legend Continues..."has been a fan favorite since its release.

The Magnificent Seven - Sam Bass - Created in 1994 to commemorate Dale Earnhardt's seven championships, this western-themed illustration features Earnhardt, "larger than life", coming out of the desert, flanked by his seven championship cars. This print was Sam's first-ever edition to sell out in just one month!

The Greatest - Sam Bass - Classified by noted sports authorities as the greatest driver of all time...to us, and to his thousands of fans, he always will be. Dale Earnhardt in silver against a black background. This print was produced using a special process of black ink on a silver paper. This unframed print is personally autographed by Sam himself, individually numbered and limited to only 700 pieces.

Quick Silver - Sam Bass - Dale Earnhardt was the pioneer of special paint schemes, and this is the car that got it all started. Dale drove this silver GM Goodwrench Service Monte Carlo in the 1995 Winston in Charlotte. The silver paint was significant since it was commemorating RJ Reynold's 25th year in NASCAR racing!

Dale Earnhardt - Sam Bass - In partnership with Action Performance, Sam created his first in a series of apparel that featured Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Gordon, Dale Jarrett and Rusty Wallace.
